Lastminute.com was purchased by Sabre for £577 million in 2005. In 2015, Sabre sold it to Switzerland-based online travel agency group, Bravofly Rumbo for $120 million. The latter renamed it to Lastminute.com Group in 2015. The Lastminute.com Group was founded and managed by Fabio Cannavale, who transformed a small, low-cost flight search engine based in Italy into a pan-European travel company generating around 60 million euros annual revenue.
