Orbitz Worldwide has other brands including CheapTickets in the Americas, ebookers in Europe, and HotelClub and RatestoGo in Sydney. Orbitz went public in 2003 and acquired by Cendant Corporation for $1.25 billion. The business was acquired by The Blackstone Group as part of Travelport, a Global Distribution System, in 2006 and went public again in 2007. In 2015, Orbitz was acquired by Expedia for $1.2 billion.
