Is it better to book through a travel agent or a website?
For the majority of travelers, it is much better to book through a website.
1. A website usually covers much more properties than a travel agent when he/she ties to one GDS (Global Distribution System).
2. Booking sites have much lower operating cost for each individual user, therefore unlikely add mark-ups on the properties.
3. You can see all options immediately and make decision quickly with a website.
4. You will see hundreds of guest reviews rather than listen to one agent’s opinion.
5. You can do the booking anytime (24/7) with a website.
